I am trying to help my brother build a knoppmyth box but the card that is in that particular box is not working well with linux. Its and old ATI card. The newer more expensive ones are hit and miss overall so I prefer to stay away from ATI anyway. Does anyone have a relatively newer NVIDIA that they could sell for cheap. Looking at the specs being able to process xv helps and this box that is being installed into has an agp slot and some extra pci slots. I really would hate to go spend over $100 for a new card and don't have the extra funds to do so at this time. So..... It also looks like I have at this time 1 box AMD ~1500Ghz single proc available that works and will have at a minimum a cdrom drive, floppy, vid card, usb but not hdds/ram installed. This box supports ide hdds and has agp and pci slots also. I could meet you in town before work or after to give this too you. If you let me know and you are going to be at the Avondale Stammtisch I can bring it then. Otherwise you will have to come to me. Barebones Box is free for the taking. ViViViPirePengy P.S.
