Really I was just wondering outloud about how it seems that when you email
someone the computer doesn't just reassign the note from the draft to sent
but rather it sends it onto the net to the one the note is to and also
back to you.

You want a graphical explanation? If not, too bad. This will be fun to do!

                                          note sent box
                                              | /
note on web-> | /<-note still on web
                                              | /
                                             /\/
                                            |
                                    recipient

So from the way you send from outlook and the letter ends up in gmail's sent
box it would seem that this is how it works. Am I wrong?
