I use UBCD4win however it can be a slight pain to construct and is not a
magic windows bullet, just like knopix is not a magic bullet (though it has
saved me more times then I care to admit)

I said it tounge in cheek, dude. and there is no computer..... this whole
discussion is a 'just-in-case' thing..... a
'head-em-off-at-the-pass-thing'..... a 'discussion to educate others as well
as myself' thing. I was thinking that there might be an open-source solution
and learned that there is (UBCD4win) so this discussion is not off topic.
Sorry to burst your bubble craig. WHere else would I learn off such things?
Besides, as I've said before the users group out here sucks!

just to make sure that this is clear...

You live in Florida, you ask the Phoenix Linux User Group how to remove
a Windows virus from a computer that a co-worker owns so you can be a
computer g-d in his eyes...

The answer is clear - you or he needs to bring it over to next
InstallFest at UAT
