Joseph, Linux has a reputation for being difficult.
A large presentation, with LOUD music, showing how easy a notebook install is, perhaps a youtube-style video looped for all people walking by would be great. No more than 8 minutes (fast forwarded and edited vid) - good graphics and good music.
