Probably, but why would you want to?

Might as well ask "Why would you want to make a softRAID-5 out of
a bunch of USB floppy disks"? "Because it's there" is a perfectly
valid answer.

What I was trying to determine is if this is a "can I do it, just 'cuz I want to?" kind of question, or are there some other factors which are leading the original poster to trying this.

And, seriously, RAID6 on 5.25 floppies is *way* cooler. :)
