That is good to know, thanks! Yes some of my knowledge dates back to about 1997 - RedHat 4?. I played with Linux in the early 90's (Caldera,Mandrake,mostly Debian) and have done little with it until the last few years.
I have a Fedora Core 5 dev box I setup 3 years ago on a private IP. I do LAMP dev on it. The other box is CentOS 5 that is a production server. So yes I am learning and may not know some things (a lot of things). That is why I posted all those questions. You will not hurt my feelings in pointing out my flaws. I want to get it right.
