Hi Joseph,

I think you have to think about who you want to be your registrar.  I use
Godaddy and the Godaddy (Wild West Domains) DomainsProcedRight.com for most of
my domains.

Last year as I was applying for a mortgage I got a letter from a collection
agency stating I owed about $38 each for two domains I let expire.  I paid it
under duress because I wanted to buy a house.  The registrar told me it was in
their TOS that I had to cancel the domain, not let it expire.   I think that
was 1&1.  I think I better take care of that soon!

Domains have become important, at least for those who have a web presence. I do
not trust any of the registrars.

So it comes down to the best control panel if they are a few dollars apart.  I
like the Godaddy/WWD control panel.

With several domain names soon coming due for renewal, I'd like to know
who might be the best reliable low cost registrar for multi-year renewals.
A search showed some advertised at $5.99, 6.99, and 7.99 per year, but
when I called them those rates were no longer available.  Most are $9.99,
although Godaddy offers $8.99 per year for six or more domains or six or
more years renewal.  Does anyone know of a better option?
