ok, my bad. t-mobile does, in fact, offer the use of one of these devices. the CSR's at the main number really need to get on the ball and learn what products they are carrying. I googled 4G+passphrase and theirs was the first hit at the top of page one. sooooo. I'll check it out. now if t-mobile would get rid of all the flash on their site. I can't use anything with flash in it as its incompatible with my accessibility app.
