For list subscriptions, I use gmane.org along with TBird's newsreader.
Makes list subscriptions and reading a breeze, plus my mail server never
needs to handle the list traffic. It's really very nice.
Let me know if you need a hand getting set up with that.

@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us under a label called Linux Plug. You can also set
the filter, when you create it, to never send messages from that address to
Spam.

does not let me see the headers to pull the information myself.
