Hello all,
I am trying to install phpmyadmin via yum on CentOS 6.2. I have
Percona55 installed, as well as php5.3.3 and httpd.
It seems the php-mysql package requires MySQL 5.1 (Percona 5.1). Is
there anyway to work this limitation, other than compiling from
source?
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Eric

I don't know about any php-mysql package, but the repoforge repo (http://repoforge.org/ - formerly rpmforge and dag weirs) has a version of phpmyadmin (http://apt.sw.be/redhat/el6/en/i386/rpmforge/RPMS/phpmyadmin-2.11.11.3-2.el6.rf.noarch.rpm). I expect this would correspond to the stock versions of php and mysql in el6.
