I have a linux 7.2 box. When I try to use outlook express on windows client to pop all the mails from a user account, it is very slow. Moreover, it gives time out error for any mail that has any attachment even in some kb. I have tried to increase the time out also. But invain. The same outlook express, in same lan n/w, pops up mail from solaris mail server easily. For some users outlook express is must. So, how this problem can be solved ?

IS THIS A WINDOWS SUPPORT MAILING LIST?
PUTTING A LINE SAYING "I HAVE A LINUX 7.2 BOX" DOES NOT QUALIFY TO WRITE ANYTHING FURTHER ON NON-FREE SOFTWARE. ( THERE ITSELF IS A MISTAKE. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS LINUX 7.2 )
DONT WASTE YOURS AND OTHERS TIME AND BANDWIDTH BY WRITING LIKE THIS.
IF OUTLOOK IS MUST FOR SOME OF YOUR USERS ,PLEASE GO AND ASK SUPPORT FROM MICROSOFT OR ANY OTHER SUCH GROUPS.
