Cos Win* rules the desktop, as of now, due to its ease
of use. (Pl. no stories of virus etc. Cos a good and
free AV, FW and spyware-checker and NON MS Browser are

And anyway OS itself is a worthless piece of code.
It's only the addon s/ws that are imp.
You can search and read about the "disruptive
technologies" and how, though a superior
technology/business practice exists, this new
disruptive technology creates a standard, easily
displacing the better one. Linux disrupted Unix in
server market. Dont even consider MS which was still a
baby when Linux started getting traction on server
side.
Just out of curiosity, may I know which s/w or os you
used while replying to this mail? I am currently using
FF 0.9.3 + Win2K Pro SP4.
Umm from past 2-3 years Linux, Linux, Linux, Solaris, Linux, Linux,
Solaris and mozilla, firefox recently. Well my reason to show doors to
windows is like this. Consider MS as a builder and Windows as house.
Will you agree to buy a house from a builder which just has glossy
paint, no security (doors/windows, you need to ask some other builder to
fill them up), weak foundation, and one which keeps falling now and
then? Me? NOPE NEVER!
