On the CDROM or installation source directory root you should find a 'COPYING' file. On the installed system who knows (other than the SRC location already mentioned)? Maybe you can find a standard location by searching/browsing or mailing the Linux Standard Base (LSB) at www.linuxbase.org or Linux Documentation Project (LDP) or www.freestandards.org ? If you get some info about the standard location to put the GPL (other than /usr/src/ or /usr/local/src/ )please do post back here... -- "Thou shalt not follow the null pointer for at its end madness and chaos lie." -- ______________________________________________________________________ Pune GNU/Linux Users Group Mailing List: ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) List Information: http://plug.org.in/mailing-list/listinfo/plug-mail Send 'help' to [EMAIL PROTECTED] for mailing instructions.
