Hi, Just to add to your question my own questions, to which kernel version and architecture are you refering? And where did you read that "demand paging happens" ? I dont know if the "OOM" (out-of-memory) killer affects paging in some way... If anyone has any links about linux memory management in current kernels (other than reading LKML) please post...
