Well, if you look at it, Fedora release isnt expected to be a production ready
release in any case. It happens to be a distro aimed at bringing you the
latest and greatest from the bleeding edge. If you want an absolutely stable
enthusiast's distro, then Slackware/Suse/Debian would be my recommendations.
However, if you cant resist the itch of trying out the latest releases of
popular free software, then Fedora is definitely the way to go!
