Dear Jayesh,

Do you know what chipset your modem uses? And what type of ethernet
card is in your machine? - this would be available from the FC1 or FC3
installation. Most ethernet cards should be detected properly, perhaps
the networking is not properly configured. If you have a dual boot
machine with windows on it then you can get the information on the card
and modem from your system information. In linux you can get
information on your hardware by running in a terminal window the command
lspci. This may be sufficient for the modem and ethernet. Once you
have the hardware information you have to determine if the drivers come
with the distro or you have to download them. If you are not familiar
with the information from lspci send a copy of the output to the list
and we can help you further. Gus.
