Hi there,
I'm using gentoo, and have just done a blanket update of most of my packages.
I used to be able to su from my day-to-day user account to root, but since the update, typing 'su' yields only an error message
You don't have permission to su to root
I've searched the man pages for su, and the /etc dir (esp passwd and shadow) to no avail.
Can anyone help me find where to allow specific users 'su' permissions.
Thanks James
