I asked one question in last PLUG meeting. How to connect the Reliance Cordless Phone(CDMA WLL) Model LG LSI 110 for Rconnect?.
I got the solution here. I first downloaded the rconnect.tar from Reliance website. Unzipped it. It created one folder /rconnect1.0/ I modified the script of /rconnect1.0/usbwizard for the appropriate port settings. then sh install.sh as told in the /rconnect1.0/readme Made changes in /etc/resolv.conf nameserver 202.138.103.100 nameserver 202.138.97.193 And now I am accessing the net thru Reliance. But now I got one more problem which I would like to discuss. I am using this connection for almost 24 hours a day. I have RedHat 9.0 configured as a sendmail mail server. Whenever there is a power failure the Reliance cordless if going OFF immediately. (We have 10 KVA Online UPS & everything is connected with that UPS) But still the phone is going OFF immediately after the MSEB Failure. And in this case if Rconnect is allready connected, then It disconnects the Rconnect. And immediately after that it stops the sendmail server. This is my practical observation since last 4 to 5 days. I can easily solve this problem by giving supply thru normal 500VA UPS.( As it generates sine wave. And our 10KVA Online UPS doesnt generate sine wave) But my question is why this is happening.
