hehe, yea, my house phone line is hanging from poles and tree branches all over the place... my phone line keeps getting cut every couple of months and someone has to come and reconnect it wherever its broken. there must be some noise on my phone coz i get about 20-30 kbps dialup speed although Im hoping the new ADSL2+ technology can handle 512k or 1 mbps... BSNL says they can go upto 8 mbps I think its mainly the distance from your house to the phone exchange (not line-of-sight but cable distance). There is a FAQ on www.bsnl.co.in for the new broadband service.... -- "Thou shalt not follow the null pointer for at it's end madness and chaos lie." -- ______________________________________________________________________ Pune GNU/Linux Users Group Mailing List: ([email protected]) List Information: http://plug.org.in/mailing-list/listinfo/plug-mail Send 'help' to [EMAIL PROTECTED] for mailing instructions.
