Hi again, The problem is sorted out. I turned Encryption to None in both sending and receiving. It worked in my earlier setup. I guess, encryption is not turned on by default. While fiddling around, I had enabled encryption in my earlier setup (MDK 9.2). The readjustment due to VSNL`s �server requires authentication" happened after enabling encryption.
