Hi,
I have installed samba version 3.0.4.0 on the
following environment.
AIX - 5.1.0.0
LDAP - 3.2.2.0
But while starting samba, i am getting this error
messages.
================================
exec(): 0509-036 Cannot load program
/usr/local/bin/smbd because of the following errors:
0509-150 Dependent module
/usr/lib/libldap.a(libldap.so.2) could not be loaded.
0509-153 File /usr/lib/libldap.a is not an
archive or
the file could not be read
properly.
0509-026 System error: Cannot run a file that
does not have a valid format.
exec(): 0509-036 Cannot load program
/usr/local/bin/nmbd because of the following errors:
0509-150 Dependent module
/usr/local/lib/libiconv.a(libiconv.so.2) could not be
loaded.
0509-152 Member libiconv.so.2 is not found
in archive
====================================
so i want to know
1. Is compulsary for reboot after samba installation?
2. Am i using corresponding version of aix and ldap
for samba 3.0.4.0?
3. Am i missed something?
Please let me know if you have any ideas/suggestions.
