Nope the problem is when i ask it to fetch google.com the linux
getaddressbyhost returns "error host not found" so even if i give the
proxy ip in hosts the process doesnot proceed to the point where proxy
will actually be consulted.

Again the proxy is not authenticated and wget works if i give direct
ips of the site instead of names.

Actually according to google contracts i think its not. But they don't
seem to mind so far.
