hi, qmail uses a .qmail file which is located in each users home directory. qmail delivers mail to /home/user/Maildir/
well in .qmail file of every user the mail delevery location is written like ./Maildir/ if we install 2 qmail on one system one will be delivering mails to local users and another will be delivering mail to remote users(as we will give smtproute for that and change the User's qmail file like "| /var/qmail2/bin/qmail-inject -A [EMAIL PROTECTED]") in this case to the mail box of a.b on Hosting mail server (which is some were at Service provider place). for this ofcourse when ever a.b goes out of the office he has to tell the support ppl. so support ppl will create a mail box on External server and Change his/her .qmail file and when he comes back simple first change his .qmail file and then fetch his/her mail from external mail server to local mail server (Fetching of mail i have mentions in case user there dont use Microsoft Outlook and so dont have PST file or the user when goes out will dont have a Secure PC where he could configure his PST file. )!! ===== Dhanraj Sheth It is the mind that moves. :)GNU/linux is Great !! http://linuxdhanraj.tripod.com __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
