I have a Dell Inspiron 1150 laptop with a Dell WLAN
1350 wireless card [inbuilt] and a Broadcom 440x card;
both of which aren't being detected by Linux [RedHat
9].

I tried a few driver patches from the net, but they didn't work. Do you have any patches, or any links to any reliable patches?
For the wireless card you need to use the wrappers developed by NDISWrapper. Google for it, you will get it. I haven't tried it out yet due to lack of time.
Also, I wanted to mount my NTFS partition, but it didn't work [I also tried some application "Captive" - no success!].
I can mount it read only, no issues with that. Haven't tried mounting read-write though; never need to use windows on the machine ;)
Please help me out. ThanX in advance.
