The whole O'Reilly CD Bookshelf (v 3.0) along with many other books is available for download at --

It's a single file of size 30 MB !
Also, I am not sure about copyright issue.

I mentioned in my previous email - it is *definitely* a (C) violation. A couple of tests that you can apply to check this - 1. Check O'Reilly's site for the book. If it is there for *purchase*, you are violating the (C) by downloading it for *free*. 2. The domain of the site, .ru, also serves an indication of this. AFAIK, Russia, and other countries lack a proper internet legal policies, and hence you find lot of porn, warez, and illegal stuff for download on these sites.

It is always better to *purchase* a book, rather than using a ripped
copy (soft or hard.) One should respect the amount of emotional and
monetary investment the author and the publisher have made in it.
Also, purchasing the book shows respect for the author's knowledge.
If a particular book is very costly - try to search for an
alternative (most of the good books come in Indian ed. though.)

Add to that, you don't risk getting into a legal trouble, if illegal
material is found on your computer.

Cheers,
Amar
