Hi, I can get the users who have tried to get in to my machine by w, who, finger & pinky. For example see the o/p below ====================================================== $ w 14:34:48 up 8 days, 18:25, 10 users, load average: 2.39, 2.09, 1.56 USER TTY FROM LOGIN@ IDLE JCPU PCPU WHAT abhi :0 - 26Apr05 ?xdm? 5days 0.06s /bin/sh /usr/bin/startkde abhi pts/1 - 26Apr05 8days 0.00s 12.04s kdeinit: kded abhi pts/2 - 29Apr05 2:25m 0.10s 0.07s ssh -Y [EMAIL PROTECTED] ====================================================
My query is where are these logs stored & how can I delete them? Do I need to log in as root for this. Regards. ________________________________________________________________________ Yahoo!
