Hi Vishal, Can you check the contents of BOOT.INI file present on the C: drive. It is a hidden file. Check that it is properly configured. Check that the numbers mentioned in parantheses point to the windows XP partition properly.
E.g. Contents of BOOT.INI should be something like this:- [boot loader] timeout=5 default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINDOWS [operating systems] multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /fastdetect /NoExecute=OptIn multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows 98" /fastdetect Cheers, Mandar Shivarekar Symphony Services, Pune. ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: vishal butte <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [email protected] Date: Mon, 9 May 2005 21:41:46 -0700 Subject: [PLUG] n/w neighbourhood on linux!!! hello PLUG My name is vishal butte & i am a 3rd engg student at PICT,Pune.
