Hello friends, When is the next PLUG meeting. I am new to linux. can i attend these meetings? How should I register for these meetings? I am in pune for two months. This is kalpana, i have gone through the mail... very usefull for the working and learnning like me..... but the another interesting thing i have came across is the discussion regarding Comprtixsys. let me tell you something.why the subject is another victim... i have also gone through the "torture" of comptrix.... when i was in My final year 2003(SIT), we were searching the project...then some how we joined the comptrix for linux project on kernel.... and the real stroy begans. that guy charged 25000RS for the project.. "Developing MINIX kernel" and for first semister he taught us linux commands,networking..which was not required.. then he starts kernel... just telling us to read the book "Understanding the Linux kernel" and he already had a code for this project(which was already copied/downloaded from site) so now in this way we have completed the course for 25K + 4500(for linux basic) and most important is he will promise you that he will place you but according to our experience there is no service like placements.so be aware from the promises.and its real that he mugged up everything and if u ask anything in betweeen he will be angry... just like "popat" if u have any queries then u can mail me [EMAIL PROTECTED](we all project member's me,shruti,komal will give you answer)i m working with polygon shruti is working with saitech and komal with salus technology. and we have that much confidence that this job is not becoz if comptrixsys not at all! thank you to all.we all three are very thankful the moderator of this group to make this group so that we can speak and share the things. kalpana,shruti,komal Thank you, Amit Patil __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
