hmm..
Ok this might help you.
the device should be /dev/usb/ttyUSB{0,1,2...}
I think it was /dev/usb/ttyACM earlier.
You need the "acm.(k)o" module to get this device USB modems working.
Additionally, www.linux-usb.org has great information.
