Hi! > These are more of players. I am looking for synthesizers.
I haven't used these (and don't even know how to use!!). Maybe you'll find it useful: AlsaModularSynth: A realtime modular synthesizer for ALSA. All parameters can be modified in realtime via MIDI. (this is what it's readme says) You might also want to go through: http://linuxaudioblog.jawebada.de/software http://linuxdj.com/audio/lad/ ZynAddSubFX: I don't know what this is, but looks very complicated!! :-O terminatorX: terminatorX is a realtime audio synthesizer that allows you to "scratch" on digitally sampled audio data (*.wav, *.au, *.ogg, *.mp3, etc.) the way hiphop-DJs scratch on vinyl records. It features multiple turntables, realtime effects (buit-in as well as LADSPA plugin effects), a sequencer and MIDI interface - all accessible through an easy-to-use gtk+ GUI. All these came with SuSE 9.3. Some more are there. Maybe you can check them out Regards, Kapil -- "The Power to Imagine, is The Power to Create!" -TTux -- ______________________________________________________________________ Pune GNU/Linux Users Group Mailing List: ([email protected]) List Information: http://plug.org.in/mailing-list/listinfo/plug-mail Send 'help' to [EMAIL PROTECTED] for mailing instructions.
