Hi guys,
I've been reading the mail froms sometime. Some guys were
complaining that accessing archives to search for stuff is not easy.
There is another way, we could 've a forum. This is a link to a
free/freeware software called smf.
www.simplemachines.org. The license is something called Simple
Machines license. All the other things seem o.k. except for them to
change the terms of Agreement anytime. There're couple of things which
I need clarification also. Would this software count as
free/open-source/freeware or what? A part of this is that would 'ving
a forum kill the mailing list? What do u guys think? There're quite a
no. of forums which are using it & atleast my experience has been
pleasurable with it.
It's not a commercial just tryin to understand what could
work & what could not for the community at large & whether this
software or some deravative of something like this is also there at
sourceforge or something? I know many questions hence take time. As
usual comments/flames welcome
