Hi Aditya ,

You can definetly go for an assembled Intel P IV Processor .
There's no problem with that and it will also be the cost - effective
solution .

The thing is that you should not have a mail server and a web server
on the same machine. Because the webserver eat's up the Ram .

1 GB of Ram is sufficient for the sendmail or Qmail . (i dont know for
the rest .)

another thing is that you should keep the mailserver behind the fire wall .
you should not have firewall and mailserver on the same machine .

fire wall and proxy can be on the same machine . !!

Also look for backup facility on the mailserver .
backup should not be on the same disc at least .
it is advisable to have a backup on different machine .

You can go for Raid .

Just have a thought for this configuration . It's better for you

Server configuration:-

Processor = 32-bit Intel Xeon processors with speed ranging from
    3-3.6 Ghz

Memory = Comes with built in 1 GB Memory which is extensible uptill 8 Gb.
According to our we can initially start with 1 GB.

This server comes with integarted smart array 6i RAID Controller.
