I read your email found the idea quite convincing but i doubt abt that support thing of yours. The next thing that i want to tell u is that abt your package selection criteria. It's the most important thing here. Like other people have posted on the thread to try out knoppix or ubuntu it's so pathetic let me tell you. They should just understand if i were to use knoppix or ubuntu i wouldn't ask for your help to build a new linux. And as some people have told u don't try to reinvent the WHEEL it's not so, polishing the wheel to make it look and feel good is not designing the wheel to be in the simplest of the terms. As far as the competition thing is concerned i will tell u one general example Can u believe this People still make browsers ?? if they had thought microsoft owns 95% of the browser market why go in there. there wouldn't be some many of them and microsft wouldn't have lost some much of the market share Finally..... I would like to offer u my service if any required and as and when required Just remember this phrase "Intelligent people hire more intelligent people them 'em to work for them" , so my friend it's never too late and it's never lack of skills u have to find the right person to work 4 u.
