You downloaded niternet manager for linux? You could have just used something like kinternet!!! It usually comes out of box with KDE, at least with SuSE. Otherwise you can play with something like kppp, wvdial etc. Anyway, now that it's working for you, enjoy! :-)

The one that shows minimized windows of running apps and is usually docked to bottom of screen? In that case, it's the 'kicker' in KDE.
