Answer is "extremely easy" .... steps 1) get urself an ethernet card 2) install it (if u already have it..... gr8!!!) 3) Ubuntu is very good in detecting network cards.. it will detect it. 4)Get the modem installed from BSNL guys ( u need to get some rewiring done from those guys)
4) Open the console and type... sudo pppoe thats it... follow the easy instructions and u r ready to go....
