hi,
Guess the problem is not solved yet. so posting
Have worked with same kind of Scenario but with qmail
and it works fine.

How do we achieve this in Qmail way:

1) Run 2(two) qmail-send E.g. qmail-send-1 and
qmail-send-2 on the same server.

(qmail-send-1 for local send E.g on location 'A'
locally and qmail-send-2 for remote send e.g. on
location 'b')

2)create all the users including (foo2) at location
'A'

3)on Location 'A' change foo2's .qmail in his/her
home dir so that when a mail is received it is
injected in the second qmail-send-2 which will deliver
that mail to mail server on location 'M'.

4) enjoy.

As never used sendmail in such Scenario so it will
need to need more dig.
Hope this will solve your problem.
