We are looking for Linux System Administrator.
The candidate should have atleast 2/3 years
of experience in managing the linux servers.
Here is a brief description of the requirements.
- Solid Linux/Unix background with respect to
- Installation
- Managing users
- Strong shell scripting skills ( Tk, Perl, Bash, etc.)
- Familiarity with fundamental networking/distributed
computing environment concepts.
- Ability to configure NFS, NIS and SAMBA.
- Understanding of DNS and basic routing concepts.
- Working experience of configuring sendmail, procmail.
- Installation and configuration of web servers, ftp servers,
dhcp servers, newsgroup, LDAP/Active directory.
- Configuring ssh, rsh, rlogin.
- Prior knowledge of setting up firewall/bridge/proxy/vpn
will be an added advantage.
