Hi all ,
I really like to share ( in detail ) the experience of FOSS.in 2005 .
But now I just want to tell you THAT was AWESOME :-)
Once I finish my exam 5 th & 7 th Dec (COM/Corba & Adv. Networking ) I will
write in my BLOG and post it on our Group .
There was great fun with Alan Cox ( Kernel hacker 2nd number after
Linus
Trovald ) , Jonathan Corbet ( LWN.NET Editor & Co-Author of "Linux Device
Driver ) , David Fetter ( Postgress SQL ) , Till Adam & Sirtaj Singh Kang
( The KDE Project ) , Rasmus Lerdorf ( PHP ) and many more FOSS icon .
It was started on 29th of Nov and ended at 2th Dec in Bangalore Palace .
We got rear chance of talking with all above FOSS ICON . Even we got rear
chance of watching KDE , GNOME , Mozilla project guys sharing their views .
In some BOF (Birds of Feather – Open Discussion ) we were listening points of
kmail , evolution , thunder-bird ( all are Email clients in FOSS world )
developers face to face . There was BOF for FOSS in Localization , Education
and NGOs , where every one from all over India sharing their
experience .Even in last days we form KDE.in group for more contribution in
KDE project from India . Danese Cooper ( Open Source Initiative ) motivated
women to contribute in FOSS .
