As we don't utilize 100% bandwidth of the NIC (10/100 Mbps), any cheap
realtek chipset NIC should be fine. (256 Kbps = 2.5% of 10 Mbps) 
Maximum bandwidth available of home users by Dataone is 1 Mbps wich is
mere 10% of the available capacity when NIC is configured at 10 Mbps.
