Dear PLUG Members, We are members of the IEEE Student branch here at I2IT Pune. There are many linux newbies wanting to explore more of the famous OS in I2IT. There are many students here who are interested in installing and learning linux but due to lack of proper guidance from linux experts most of them are reluctant.
We would like PLUG to conduct a workshop on Linux(configuring systems,basic linux commands etc..) for all the newbies here as well as a little advanced commands(admin) for those who already know the basics. If possible we would also like a workshop on C Programming on the Linux Platform and how it differs from windows as it is one of the important topics in todays world. PLUG would also benifit from this as many students would move from Windows to Linux and PLUG can increase their membership here in PUNE. This would help in promoting Linux. Looking for an early reply from your side, so that the event can be co-ordinate properly.
