The Yahoo messenger given provided by Yahoo! does not work on Mandrake
AFAIK. Its also a very old version and buggy.
Instead, try Gaim. Its already present in Mandrake and supports Yahoo, IRC,
MSN, AIM, Jabber (google talk) and a host of other protocols.
You can download latest version of Gaim from http://gaim.sourceforge.net
Gaim does not support voice or video chat, but they are working on it. I think
Google talk voice chat might be first one out, since one of the developers is
working closely with Google.
