Technical leads are expected to have a degree in computer science and with 6-8 years of product development experience in storage software industry. The candidate should lead design reviews for other engineers, and offers feedback on architecture, design issues, system integration and scalability issues. The candidate should have contributed to an open source project and/or should be familiar with open source development tools. Engineers We are looking for highly skilled engineers with a degree in computer science orelectronics engineering at least 2 years of system software experience. Engineers should have good communication and interpersonal skills. Engineers should be familiar with software development cycle and practice good software development methodogies such as code review, code documentation and unit testing. Experience with bug tracking system such as bugzilla, source management system such as CVS is desired. Engineers with open source product development experience would be preferred. UI engineer(s): The engineer(s) will be responsible for developing user interface backend components. Requirements: PHP, Javascript, Ajax, Apache webserver, XML, XHTML, CSS, XML-RPC,Familarity with backup and archiving products Database engineer(s): The engineer(s) will be responsible for developing modules to integrate our product with various system software and database applications. Requirements: Oracle, MySQL, IBM DB2, Database administration commands, Scripting languages such as perl. Knowledge of ODBC would be a plus. Windows developer(s): The engineer(s) will be responsible for developing modules to integrate with Windows applications. Requirements:Windows APIs, VSS API, Windows SQL server, Exchange server APIs, C++ Storage engineer(s): Modules to integrate our product with storage snapshot/mirroring/replication products. Requirements: Storage switch administration, EMC/Veritas/IBM snapshot/mirroring/replication products, Scripting languages such as perl Configuration engineer(s): The engineer will work on product configuration commands and utilities. Requirements: C, Linux programming, open source tools and libraries Solaris developer(s): The engineer(s) will be responsible for product development on Solaris platform including installation, configuration and administration tool.
