I need help on installing CANON LBP 2900 on CUPS. This is a USB printer. I have down loaded needed drivers in RPM format. Cups server on localhost:/631 recognizes the printer ,installs PPD file but there is no out put. The program crashes with a message " Unable to open USB Port" redhat-Config-printer doenot show the printer nor takes PPD files. I am using FC1 on AMD 64.
