I own a Nokia 3230 and a DKU-2 USB cable. I was able to transfer files between my Ubuntu Linux and the mobile, following instructions from the above link. Just thought could be useful for someone... List files obexftp -u 1 -c C:/Nokia -l Download a file obexftp -u 1 -c C:/Nokia/Images -g file.jpg Upload a file obexftp -u 1 -c C:/Nokia/Others -p ~/somefile
Just attach usb cable and on ubuntu it detects device as flash device, and asks to download images, even opens the requiste folder. Better than XP. Right click and eject.....it writes data and it is umounted. This is on my K750 from S.E. Methinks the original thread was to do with using gprs to surf on PC. That I never tried. Dataone makes that obsolete on desktop atleast. N3230 has EDGE might be interesting.
