I think its more advisible to discuss this issue in the PLUG monthly meeting. Why don't you come for the PLUG meeting on 07th April 07 at 4 PM? We can have views of many PLUG members there and the I am sure our discussions will be fruitful.
I request all of you to kindly consider using a blog for this. The suggestion for discussing it at your PLUG meeting is sub-optimal due to the following reasons: 1. It assumes that the subset living around Shivajinagar is a fully representative population 2. It assumes that all interested parties are free on Saturdays at 4 pm and present in Pune to attend the meetings 3. It assumes that enough people will be available at the meeting and follow-up meetings to provide momentum By switching over to an online forum, you ensure that all the people not falling within the three classes above can keep themselves informed and take part. Pledges of financial support can be made off-line if it is a concern. In this manner, we can spread the movement beyond Pune and attain better visibility. I was actually thinking of starting a blog for this myself, but I believe Grahakraja should take the lead. -- ______________________________________________________________________ Pune GNU/Linux Users Group Mailing List: (plug-mail@plug.org.in) List Information: http://plug.org.in/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/plug-mail Send 'help' to [EMAIL PROTECTED] for mailing instructions.
