Looks like you need to allow SOCKS 4 or 5 or HTTP to be allowed for ymesseger to work correctly. Look at the settings of the router to find out what is allowed / barred.
options to use proxy on msn live or mirc as well. Can someone pl guide
On msn live the setting are known by the title "LAN settings". Search there to fill up the values.
