Position Title: System Administrator (Linux)
Location: Pune, India
Job Description
We are looking for a System Administrator to provide Systems expertise
to our product development team.
In addition to System administration responsibilities, the job involves:
* Product packaging and deployment using shell scripting
* Hardware and Software tuning for extracting the best application
performance
* Implementing Systems for Scalability and high Availability
* Implement Terra byte storage systems
* Providing System Management Strategies to our clients
* Implementing System monitoring solutions and also providing the same
to our clients
* Remote administration of Systems deployed in Singapore and US (on
SliceHost)
Additionally, You must have
* Good communication and documentation skills
* Understanding of internal working of Linux
* Scripting skills in shell/Perl/Python

Infogrid Pacific develops web applications for information management
and publishing. Infogrid Pacific is a Singapore company with the
Application Development team located in Pune, Maharashtra. We specialise
in complex distributed applications that work across the Internet with
multiple workflow nodes handling high performance graphics, text, XML,
XSLT:FO and many other technologies.
We use Python for client and server side development. Our Server
applications are Linux only and uses standard Python Built-ins and
extensions and Django(http://www.djangoproject.com/). We use PostgreSQL
as the database backend.
