There could be many free and useful softwares available for the school purpose. If anybody knows any software please recommend. Only make sure that it is a free software i.e. freely distributable.
I find a pdf printer is quite useful to create pdfs from all other software to share electronically. For that I use PDFCreator http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfcreator/ I suggest you include it on the utility CD.
