F8 then later) something like Ubuntu's "BulletProofX" and their

It is unclear whether it has any realistic benefits over what is in
Fedora already despite the marketing hoopla.
* Fedora starts system-config-display and attempts to reconfigure X
automatically from the very first version. IIRC even Red Hat Linux used
to do that early on. Newer versions of Xorg have started doing this
without any external helpers or pre-existing configuration files
* The ability to import Windows inf files were attempted back in 2004
and discarded as not offering any benefits.
