FYI, the blog entry [2] above mentions that the Live CDs will only be available in a couple of weeks. I've just now installed the KDE CD under VMware server and as usual it is very polished as product of German heritage should be :-) First impressions are positive. I've already installed Ubuntu 7.10 gutsy beta and comparing the two in my opinion, Ubuntu is for your regular "home users" and OpenSuse is for "power users", good for corporate/office desktops. The menus, configuration options are "comprehensive" and can be confusing to navigate at times... I'm also currently downloading the Fedora 8 test 3 KDE Live-CD and will try it under VMware tomorrow...
